2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is an American bestselling full-size truck that impresses with its eight trims, three beds, three cabs, and seven powertrains. 

Exterior Dimensions


The Silverado 1500 has three cabins: Regular, Double, and Crew. The Regular cab comes with the long bed (98.1 inches.) and is 229.5 inches long. The Double cab goes together with the standard bed (79.4 inches). Its length from the front to the rear bumper to bumper is 231.7 inches. The Crew cab boasts two types of beds that can be attached to it: the short (69.9 inches) and the standard one (79.4 inches). The overall lengths of these two options are equal to 231.7 inches and 241.2 inches, respectfully. 


The width of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular cab (81.1 inches) is pretty much the same as the other two having 81.2 inches. 


The height of both Regular and Double cab is the same, 75.6 inches. The Crew cab with the short box is 0.01 inches shorter (75.5 inches), and with the standard box, it is another  0.01 inches shorter (75.4 inches). However, there’s an exceptional trim level of Silverado called Trail Boss. The Trail Boss package includes shock absorbers, suspension lift, skid plates, and some other features.

The Regular cab has a wheelbase of 139.5 inches, the Double cab’s distance between the front and the rear wheels is 147.4 inches. The Crew cab has 147.4 inches for the short bed model and 157 inches for the standard bed Silverado 1500.

The number of seats in the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 depends on the cab style: the Crew and Double cabs have four doors and allow six seats. The Regular cab has two doors and three seats.
